Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy, the Brazosport College SBDC provides this notice of Internet policies explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.
This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the Brazosport College SBDC website. On some pages, you can register for events and seminars, make requests, or subscribe to our SBDC Star E-News. The types of personal information collected on these pages are:
We use the information that you provide about yourself only to complete your registration or subscription. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that transaction. Information such as email addresses or any other personal information is never sold, traded or given away.
You need to register on the BC SBDC website if you would like to attend training events, receive our e-Newsletter and updates on our seminars and events, or enroll in promotional programs.

The Brazosport College SBDC web site places links to other websites operated by other parties. When visitors follow these links, the SBDC cannot control the information that may be collected on selected sites or their disclosure policies.
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information that we collect online.
1. Security Measures during Transmission of Payment
Your payment and personal information is always safe. Secure Sockets Layer SSL software is utilized to ensure secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all payment and personal information so that it cannot be read over the Internet.
2. Use of Financial Information
The BC SBDC uses customer financial information to bill through service providers, including credit card processing companies and banking institutions used to process the transaction. We require these entities not to use your information for any other purpose.
1. Cancellations of Training and Reserved Seating Events
Training attendees need to cancel at least 3 business days before the scheduled event to receive a 100% refund. Cancellations received less than 3 days prior to an event will receive a credit to be applied to a future event. Training and special events cancelled by the BC SBDC will be refunded at 100%, allowing 30 days to process.
Credit card payments will be refunded to the credit card with which the purchase was made and cash/check payments will be refunded by check within 30 days.
